铝硅合金铸造中稀土元素对粗片状富铁相组织的抑制作用
THE EFFECT OF RARE EARTHS ON CONTROLING THE PRODUCTION OF COARSE IRON-RICH PHASE IN ALUMINUM-SILICON ALLOY
【摘要】 铸造铝硅合金中易出现粗片状富铁相,使性能变坏.本文探讨了稀土元素是否具有在铝硅合金结晶过程中抑制粗片状富铁相的出现,并使它成为细小分散的组织.试验结果是肯定的,但不同稀土元素的作用不同.作者认为稀土元素的作用是因其活性大,优先与铁生成细小共晶组织所致.
【Abstract】 Coarse iron-rich phase tends to appear in aluminum-silicon alloy and cause harm to the alloy′s properties.A discussion about whether rare earths can control the production of coarse iron-rich phase and make the microstructure fine is given in this paper.This method is justified by experimental results.The positive action of rare earths should be attributed to their high activity.They can combine with iron to form fine eutectic structure.However,the effect differs with the addition of different rare earth elements.
