【Abstract】 Listening comprehension is one of the difficulties in students’ English learning. Understanding Gricean theory of conversational implicature helps to improve listening ability. The paper demonstrates the theory of conversational implicature and the application of its four maxims to listening comprehension in College English Test (Band 4 and Band 6) and puts forward suggestions on listening teaching for the purpose of improving students’ listening ability.更多还原
