【Abstract】 The criteria for recording characteristics of sweet osmanthus cultivars are revised based on a morphologic analysis of cultivars; Sixteen terms are listed as: cultivar name and trade designation, place of origin, habit and crown, bark, branch, leaf, flower bud, inflorescence, pedicel, flower color, diameter and type of coronal, stamina and pistil, blossoming season, flower scent, fruit, distinctive evaluation.
