【Abstract】 Mao Zedong was a poet and journalist as well as a politician. His 70 poems and Cis after 1949 were filled with a strong tone of journalism while presenting their poetic beauty as he observed closely with zero time difference a series of ups and downs of the time and social reforms and innovations. This journalistic tone was reflected in the significance of the themes, the timeliness of the stories and the wittiness of the language. Nevertheless, the journalistic tone in Mao’s poetry and Ci has been ignored and even criticized.更多还原
