【Abstract】 There are lots of ethical operas in early Ming Dynasty, in which the female—dramatis persona is worth noticing. These females can be divided into two categories, the one receiving good ethical cultivation and the one being prostitutes, but two groups played the same role in the dramas moralizing the audiences. They communicated in the operas a kind of male chauvinistic consciousness then and there. This phenomenon was not only connected with the cultural policy of early Ming Dynasty, but also closely related to the interior tradition of Chinese classic literature.更多还原
