【Abstract】 Based on the particular analysis of DXF file format in AutoCAD,fully taking advantage of the compact expression of polylines,and combining the characteristic of punching parts, a method and program frames used for extracting geometric information of punching parts were proposed,and the method of creating geometric information database was elaborated.
