【Abstract】 Microbial desulfurization technology shows great potential in the coal industry and environmental protection. Different types of sulfur existence in coal, classification of microorganisms for desulfurization and mechanism of microbial desulfurization from coal have been reviewed, and technologies of microbial desulfurization of coal are introduced.
