【Abstract】 Ectropis crepuscularia is one of the major pests which are detrimental to Pinus massoniana in Cangwu County of recent years It happens simultaneously with Zethenia inaccepta ,4 generations within one year Its pupa hibernates in topsoil and the imago’s emergence takes place in the middle 10 days of March the next year Its major damaging approach is for the larva to gnaw at pine’s needle,in which case seriously affects the normal growth of pine and causes great losses Through indoor breeding and field observation,life history and biological characteristics of Ectropis crepuscularia have been known and effective preventive techniques have been found更多还原
