【Abstract】 The procedure of back-analysis in geotechnical engineering is briefly introduced, and Genetic Algorithm is compared with traditional optimization algorithms. Some developments of GA are discussed in detail. Then some advanced operators and techniques in GA are given. At the same time, some improved Genetic Algorithm in the geotechnical engineering application is introduced. An example is given to illustrate that the algorithm is effective in solving geotechnical engineering back-analysis problem.更多还原
