【Abstract】 GONG Ke-chang’s new works on the research of Chinese Ci and Fu represent a new era’s achievement in the study of the diction and prose. His new works refute the unpractical views, and suggest a correct position for the diction and prose in Chinese literature history. The comment, which has an extremely high academic value, on the completed Han prose is the first attempt in the new field.
