【Abstract】 With the improved tanh-function method, the equations of nonlinear vibrating string are reduced to first-order nonlinear ordinary differential equations. By solving the equations a class of exact solitary wave solitary solutions, triangle function solutions and complex solutions are obtained. It indicates that the method is also suitable for solving other nonlinear evolution equations.更多还原
