非线性偏振旋转锁模Yb3+光纤激光器的理论分析
Nonlinear polarization rotation mode locked yb3+-doped fiber laser
【摘要】 本文对非线性偏振旋转锁模Yb3+光纤激光器进行了理论分析,通过数值模拟方法证明,采用非线性偏振旋转的锁模机制,利用掺Yb3+光纤工作在正色散区的特性,在掺Yb3+光纤组成的环形腔激光器中,可形成能量较大的光脉冲。对该脉冲在腔外进行压缩,可得到高能量的超短光源。
【Abstract】 Based on the two coupled nonlinear Ginzburg-Landau equations, we demonstrated that by using the nonlinear polarization rotation as the mode-locking mechanism, the stretched pulse with high energies can be formed in a Yb3+-doped fiber laser with the normal group-velocity dispersion. If this pulse is further compressed out of the cavity, a narrow pulse with high-energy can be obtained.
