【Abstract】 The separation and reunion word "sleeping" originates from eaking.But the meaning of the word goes to the opposite and becomes the state of falling asleep.This change began in the Ming Dynasty through doing textual reserach.The change is mainly due to error use.The pronunciation of sleeping which means waking in middle ancient Chinese and modern Chinese is completely as same as the pronunciation of the sleeping which means the state of going saleep.The point is important evidence linking the former and later sleeping.更多还原
