【Abstract】 This paper, from the perspective of Nida’s dynamic equivalence theory, tries to analyze the justifications, applications and rules of the three translation methods: transliteration, free translation and semantic transliteration. The analysis is based on an investigation into 99 C-E translations of Chinese company names and functional equivalence, formal equivalence as well as cultural equivalence with naturalness and consumer’s acceptance as their ultimate goals.更多还原
