【Abstract】 The contents of Fe in sericite would influence the quality ofsericite products significantly, especially their whiteness. In this paper, microscopic observation, chemical composition, XRD, EPR spectraand contents of Fe for sericite from the Chuzhou Mica Mine were carried out. It is concluded that the main fraction ofFe inthe ores and minerals occurs atthe dioctahedral siteof sericite. The representativepercentages of Fe distributed in rock-forming minerals werealso measured. The results are helpful toguide industrialproductionandprocess in this area.更多还原
