【Abstract】 The optical disk database with western languages is an important mea ns for the foreign scholars to retrieve the sci-tech information, those Chinese sci-tech papers, the English abstracts of which aren’t collected in the optica l disk database, will be difficult to be retrieved and quoted. This paper analyz es the factors influencing the collection of sci-tech papers in three major ret rieving tools from aspects of the writing style of sci-tech papers’ English Abstracts, the translation of the geographic names and personnel names, the composi tion of the references and their description requirements, etc.更多还原
