【Abstract】 New gymnasium is a multi-purpose sport facility, which is mainly built for sport teaching and training. This paper firstly outlines the overall architecture, then focuses on design procedures, structural layout selection optimization, static load analysis, buckling evaluation, joint detailing, steel frame member fabrication and erection, fabric cutting and patterning, membrane installation, construction management and so on.
