【Abstract】 It is common knowledge that the termite causes injuries to mankind, but a little is known about its advantages to mankind. This article is particularly to discuss the advantage of termites to mankind. In the nature, the termite is a “scavenger” as it can turn the dead branches, fallen leaves and others in woodland into beneficial manure, which is then absorbed by plants in the ecosystem. The termite itself can be used as source of nourishing and delicious food, and also refined into the good medicine for disease prevention and cure, and effective health tonic. The epiorganism of termites,such as Termitomyces, is even more delicious food, and the fungus and Xylaria nigripes (Ki) Saco can be refined into the good medicines for effective cure of the diseases.更多还原
