【Abstract】 Two new sawfly species are described from Jiuzhaigou, Sichuan and South Gansu of China. Types of the new species are deposited in the Insect Collection of Central South Forestry University, Zhuzhou, China. 1. Macrophya shii Wei, sp. nov. (Figs.1~3) Female body length 8.5 mm. Black, apex of labrum, transversal band in labrum, base of mandible, most of palpi, narrow margin of pronotum, two large spots in first abdominal tergite, tenth tergite, a large macula in outside of hind coxa, hind trochanters, anterior side of apex of fore and middle tibiae, dorsal 2/5 of hind tibia white. Stigma and veins black. Occipital carina fine and distinct; clypeus broader than lower distance between eyes, with anterior margin roundly incised to a depth of about 1/2 length of clypeus; frons not depressed; antenna slender and as long as head and thorax together, third segment slightly shorter than following two segments together; metepimeron without appendage. Frons and nearby of head densely and coarsely punctuated, upper 2/3 of mesepisternum extremely densely punctured, matt; first abdominal tergite polished except for sides. Anal cell in front wing with a short and erect cross vein. Claw without basal lobe, inner tooth slightly shorter than outer tooth. Sheath short and as long as hind basitarsus, with short hairs in dorsal view. Lancet with 26 oblique serrulae, serrula with 2 inner and 5~6 outer subbasal teeth. Holotype: ♀, Jiuzhaigou, 2 500 m, Sichuan Province, 16-Ⅶ-2001, WEI Mei-cai; Paratypes: 1♀, Rizegou, Jiuzhaigou, Sichuan Province, 03~04-Ⅷ-2002, SHI Fu-ming; 1♀, Weiyuan County, Gansu Province, 20-Ⅴ-1984, WANG Jin-chuan. This new species is close to Macrophya sibirica Forsius from Northeastern Asia, but differs from the latter in hind trochanters white, pronotum with white margin, the first abdominal tergite with two large white spots, frons and mesoscutellum densely and coarsely punctured. 2. Rhogogaster nigrospina Wei, sp. nov. (Figs. 4~7) Female body length 12.5 mm. Green with a few black maculae: antenna black with ventral line pale; frons with a crown-like narrow black stripes, middle line and hind apex of prescutum, narrow stripe in out side of scutum and bottom of parapsis black; each leg with a fine black stripe from middle of femur. Wings hyaline, stigma green. Body robust; clypeus narrowly and roundly incised, lateral lobe obtuse without dent; labrum longer than out side of clypeus, apex truncate and not curved; malar space 2 times diameter of an ocellus; eyes small with lower distance between them much broader than clypeus; supraantennal tubercle indistinct; postocellar area flat, slightly broader than long, posterior margin round without carina; lateral furrows strongly divergent backwards; head in dorsal view distinctly dilated behind eyes and as long as eye; antenna slender, slightly longer than head and thorax together, third segment distinctly longer than fourth segment (27:20). Head polished without microsculpture; mesepisternum feebly microsculptured. Mesoscutellum strongly elevated with an obtuse transversal ridge; posttergite short, without middle carina; mesepisternum weekly elevated. Hind tarsus longer than hind tibia, first pulvillus about as long as 1/3 length of second tarsomere; claw without basal lobe, inner tooth slightly shorter than outer tooth. Lancet with 26 serrulae, serrulae low and flat as in figs. 4 and 5, each with 2 inner and 18 to 20 outer subbasal teeth. Male length 11 mm. Color and structure similar to female except for: ventral pale stripe in antenna broad, black stripe in each leg extending to base of femur, malar space broader than 2 times diameter of an ocellus, head behind eyes in dorsal view not so strongly dilated and claw with inner tooth longer than outer tooth; subgenital plate truncate at apex.
