【Abstract】 Nowadays, the treatment and handling of rural domestic wastewater have been put on the agenda. Because of its dispersion, small amount, isolation from group living quarters, large water bodies, small capacity of water environment and the low level of management, it is believed that the technique of treatment by percolation sites is suitable for the rural reality. It applies to sparse-populated places with small amount of wastewater, and has the advantage of small investment, small consumption of energy, and simple maintenance and stable effect of purification. A detailed introduction is given as to the types, structure, calculation of percolation sites and points of attention. It is also suggested that, in order to prevent the potential pollution of surface and underground water, and to meet the need of regional public hygiene, a strict procedure of management must be made and carried out.更多还原
