分散聚合法研制吸水-吸油双功能聚物

【摘要】 采用分散聚合法,以乙醇/水为分散介质,聚乙烯吡咯烷酮(PVP)为分散剂,苯乙烯/α 甲基丙烯酸为共聚单体,偶氮二异丁腈(AIBN)为引发剂,二乙烯苯为交联剂,合成出吸水倍率为4 2g/g、吸油倍率为7 2g/g,具有双吸功能的聚物。考察了单体配比、引发剂、交联剂、分散剂的用量对双吸性能的影响,V(苯乙烯)∶V(α 甲基丙烯酸)=2∶1,w(AIBN)=3 3%,w(二乙烯苯)=2 6%,w(PVP)=4 2%(均以单体质量为基准)。通过红外光谱测试,其共聚物含有苯基、羧基和吡咯基团,分散剂对产品兼有接枝功能也进行了确证。经扫描电镜观测,粒径为100~200μm。

【Abstract】 A water-absorbing and oil-absorbing bifunctional polymer is synthesized by dispersion polymerization in alcohol/water medium using polyvinylpyrrolidone as dispersing agent,styrene/α-methylacrylic acid as monomers,azobisisobutyronitrile(AIBN) as initiator,and divinylbenzene as crosslinking agent.The water absorption ratio is 4.2 g/g and the oil absorption ratio is 7.2 g/g.The optimum material ratios are V(styrene)∶V(α-methylacrylic acid)=2∶1,w(AIBN)=3.3%,w(divinylbenzene)=2.6% and w(polyvinylpyrrolidone)=4.2%(based on the mass of monomers).IR spectrum shows that there are phenyl,carboxylic and pyrrole groups in the polymer,so that the dispering agent also acts as a grafting agent.Scanning electron microscope shows that the average particle size is in the range of 100~200 μm.
