【Abstract】 Hydrophobic L-dipentyl tartrate was synthesized by refluxing L-tartaric acid and n-pentyl alcohol in mole ratio 2.8∶1 with toluene as solvent and p-toluenesulfonic acid as catalyst at 130～135 ℃ for 1 h.The esterification rate was above 99% and the yield was up to 78.4%.The product was colorless viscous liquid,n²⁰_D=1.4520,b.p.198～201 ℃.更多还原
