This article explained the importance of vector map in GIS, and analyzed the error in the vector map transformed from paper map in practicality. Discussed how to use affine transform matrix to realize the revise arithmetic in the vector map with specific format. On the premise that we just know some points with exact position, we can revise the other points in the same map. This arithmetic proved to be satisfactory in the revise of Wuhan vector map.
