【Abstract】 There are many kinds of traffic controllers, which are made according to different communication interface criterions in urban traffic intersections. These controllers cant meet the needs of ITS in urban traffic coordinate control. In order to set up the foundation of electronic data interchange in urban traffic light system and realize the platform integration of traffic control system, the relevant and open technical criterions should be made by using the common format of electronic data interchange.
