【Abstract】 The western large-scale developments are inevitable results of the three generations leaders’ management thought for regional economy that come down in one continuous line. The substance of the western large-scale developments is under the guidance of Deng Xiaoping Theory, to quicken the developments of western area and realize the socialism goal of being rich together through the drive of the earlier developments of eastern area. The strategic train of thought of western large-scale developments should be to cultivate and develop the main body actively, work out the strategy adapting to the district practically, establish market system quickly, bring up the to united pattern with great efforts, choose industrial focal point initiatively, emphasize structural adjustment firmly.
