This paper introduces the library in the digital divide research. The digital divide problem causes people to adjust the fresh knowledge of public library function. The special role of public libraries in solutions to the digital divide is recognized, that is, to supply the public computers Internet joins, to train citizen for computer literacy and skills, and to supply the appropriate network message resources.
