【Abstract】 We pointed out the disadvantages of the existent image thresholding segmentation methods based on edge information. Then we put forward a new approach using a new morphological gradient algorithm and an adaptive gradient threshold. The experiment results show that this new approach can get wonderful segmentation for images with low contrast or asymmetry illumination.更多还原
