【Abstract】 In this paper, we introduce a new rate control mechanism in transmission of streaming media. It adaptively adjust send rate according to end-user’s specific network bandwidth and device constraints. Simulation results demonstrate that the new algorithm has a good adaptation capacity against available bandwidth fluctuation and offers superior performance over the classical approach for Internet streaming media application.更多还原
