【Abstract】 MANET (mobile ad hoc network) is multi-hop wireless network that is composed of mobile hosts communicating with each other through wireless links. Efficient energy conservation plays an important role in the performance of MANET because mobile nodes in such networks are usually battery-operated. A new DSR-based energy saving routing strategy is proposed and analyzed in this paper. Simulations show it maximizes the lifetime of network, and trades off the energy saving and conventional network performance.更多还原
