【Abstract】 In this paper, the development of mobile GIS software based on personal digital assistant (PDA) is studied in the environment of Windows CE. The principle and technology of mobile GIS based on PDA are discussed. The architecture and system design of PDA GIS are presented. Comparing with the GIS development based on desktop PC, the development of mobile GIS based on PDA is discussed in detail. The realization and functions of a PDA GIS prototype developed by the authors are introduced.更多还原
