【Abstract】 Similar characters are common among Chinese characters,which is a main reason for affecting the recognition rate of off -line handwritten Chinese character.This paper presents a recognition approach for similar handwritten Chinese characters based on multi -class support vector machines classifier.The technique of combining wavelet transform with elastic meshing is employed for a given handwritten character to extract its feature.The results of three different combination strategies of binary SVM classifiers are compared by the experiments.更多还原
