一种基于扫描行的汽车车牌定位算法
A Vehicle Number-plate Locating Method Based on Line Scanning
【摘要】 汽车牌照的自动识别是一种重要的交通信息获取技术,在ITS中有广泛应用。该文在对收费站汽车牌照特征分析的基础上,提出了一种改进的基于扫描行的灰度跳变点特征的车牌定位算法。实验结果表明,该方法能有效定位车牌,车牌定位精度超过95%,并能有效地克服光线和天气条件等影响。
【Abstract】 The automatic vehicle number-plate recognition,which is widely used in ITS area is an important technique to obtain traffic information.Under the basis of the analysis to characteristic of toll station vehicle number-plate,this paper presents an improved number-plate locating method based on the characteristics of gray beep points.The results of the experiment shows that the method can effectively locate number-plate,the correct rate is more than95%,and it can effectively avoid the influences of the light and weather condition in real-world system.
