【Abstract】 A scheme of automatic meter reading system based on GSM/GPRS is offered to meet the demands for the reliability and real time performance of data communication. This scheme utilizes direct connection between GSM/GPRS network and interuet for real time data acquisition and transfer. Its structure and operational principle are introduced in detail.
