热处理条件对赤泥微晶玻璃表面晶化和体积晶化的影响
Effects of Heat Treatment on the Surface Unidirectional Crystallization and Volume Crystallization of Glass-ceramics Mostly Made from Red Mud
【摘要】 利用赤泥和粉煤灰两种废渣制备高性能的微晶玻璃材料。对不同热处理条件下 ,微晶玻璃的边界晶体组织和内部晶体组织进行了比较研究。结果表明 :核化温度低于差热分析 (DTA)曲线吸热峰温度时 ,样品边界存在明显的从表面向中部定向生长的柱状晶组织 ,而样品中部是方向各异的树枝晶形态。核化温度升高后 ,样品边界定向生长的柱状晶组织减少甚至被等轴晶取代。提出较窄的样品表面具备核化能力区域宽度Δx是获得微晶玻璃表面定向生长晶体组织的关键。
【Abstract】 Glass-ceramics with high quality have been made from the mixture of red mud and fly ash. The crystal microstructures of the border and inner of the glass-ceramics sample were studied under different heat treatment conditions. The results show that when nucleation temperature is lower than the temperature of endothermic peak of DTA curve, the columnar crystals grow in unidirectional direction from border to inner of the sample. However, dendrite crystals form in inside of the sample. When the nuclear temperature increases,less columnar crystals at the border of the sample are observed and equiaxed crystals form. The narrower width (Δx) of the border area having nucleation ability is of key role to the unidirectional columnar crystals.
