【Abstract】 It is well known that after the Cold War, terroism and hegemony are the two large hazards all over the world-Both of them are threatening the peace and safety of the world greatly. As we all know, there are somerelationships between them. However, we should clearly see that there are vital differences between themTherefore, as far as I am concerned , it is not only very important but also it is very necessary for us to distinguishterroism from hegemony. As the largest socialist country in today’ s world ,China is being faced with severechallenge. In order to realize the four modernizations, it is very important for us to have a peaceful internationalenvironment. The Chinese government has declared that the Chinese people are strongly against terroism and atthe same time, we are also strongly aganst hegemony.
