【摘要】 本文探讨“恨不得”与“巴不得”之间的意义差别。文章认为,“恨不得”与“巴不得”不是同义词或近义词:“恨不得”用来引出说话者对当事人的某种情状的强烈程度的形象化描述;而“巴不得”则是表示当事人的真实愿望。通过与其他表示愿望的词语的比较,文章指出,“巴不得”所表示的大多是当事人不能够或不愿意主动去实现的愿望;而在我们说及当事人的这种愿望因为其他的外在因素变成了现实或是有可能变成现实的时候,便是使用“巴不得”的最典型语境。文章同时指出,“巴不得”也有被用来表示“恨不得”的意思的时候,但这种用法是否规范仍需进一步观察与探讨。更多还原

【Abstract】 This paper argues that henbude (恨不得) and babude (巴不得) are not synonyms. Henbude is used by the speaker to introduce a figurative description of the high degree of the situation under talking, while babude is used to present a true desire of the subject. This paper also points out that, compared with the other words presenting desire, babude is typically used to present a desire that the subject can not or will not realize it by himself in a situation that his desire has been or would been realized by other’s efforts. It is also noted that babude is sometimes used to express the meaning of henbude, but it needs further investigation and discussion whether it is a norm usage.更多还原
