【Abstract】 The coal grinding machine is a machine which can mash the coal into powder in the thermal power plant. It has the disadvantange that usually makes great noise. The authors analyzed the circumstance of the workshop and the noise measurement results. According to the results, the method to decreasing the noise is explained. By using the noise encloser, the noise barrier, and other new method to control the noise of ball mill, it can make the noise level of coal grinding machine decrease by about 15-20 dB (A).
