【Abstract】 This paper proposed a combination of MLS interpolants with NBEM to retain the meshless attribute of the former and the dimensionality and computation advantage of the latter. It was showed that nodal data on the boundary were needed in the numerical implementation of the method, and the computation was simple and stable.
