【Abstract】 This paper studied the directory management to implement storage virtualization in Wide-Area network. To manage directories information based on LDAP (Lightweight Directory Access Protocol), a strategy was introduced to manage all existing storage resources, arrange users′ storage information in a tree structure and provide a view of multi-user′s name space.
