【Abstract】 This essay mainly deals with negotiation between the teacher and students in college English teaching from the perspective of student - centered language teaching theory. And its necessity is expounded through analyzing college students’ psychology, the characteristics of syllabus design on the basis of student - centered language teaching theory and the present situation of college English teaching.
