【Abstract】 Acoustic description has constantly been an organic construction of perceptual literature. China has excellent words for describing sounds since ancient times. In A Dream of Red Mansion, the artistic aesthetic limits of acoustic description has been widely expanded. It is not only the flexible tool for description in novels, but also a sharp sword for carving the images of characters. Moreover, it is the effective catalyst of producing the feeling of space and time of plots, and the mood of literary work.
