【Abstract】 After studying the flash butt welding thoroughly, using the most popular WINDOWS application develop technology at present, programming language C++Builder, assemble language and Microsoft Access, a software of flash butt welding machine of great section workpiece is developed. The software system has functions such as identifying identity of user, providing information consultation about flash butt welding, constituting technique, welding process control, product data information management, feedback of quality parameter and so on.
