【Abstract】 The main forest development issues in Guangdong province are discussed in this paper in view of the forest regional and industrial features. Due to rapid economic development, Zhujiang Delta has to face the more and more serious environmental issues, and the main role of forest resources is to improve the urban environment and ensure the sustainable development of urban system. While the East, West and the North mountain area has to confront with the problems such as forest development in rural and agricultural structural transformation, public ecological forest construction and forest industry.
