【Abstract】 The paper summaries and analyses representative western economic theory on natural monopoly and government regulation to expose itsinternal logical relationship and offer theoretical basis on deregulation, which includes the fundamental conception and application. Accordingly, the paper puts forward some riewpoints concernong our supervision on natural monopoly:(1) Monopoly doesnot mean the loss of social welfare (2) regulation isn’t the only means to increase the efficiency of natural monopoly (3) the regulation of natural monopoly should be dynamic.更多还原
