【Abstract】 A tunnel monitoring and control system was introdu ced by a corresponding development example. When emergency occurs in the tunnel (with an alert), the system can respond to all kinds of events without losing any important data and alert information, and can automatically trigger off a traffic control plan. This may alert the operator to the emergency in time, so that he can take measures to prevent traffic accidents from taking place, provide immediate solutions to traffic accidents, and guarantee quick recovery of the traffic.
