【Abstract】 The overall strategy of forestry development in China in the new century is the “Three Ecology” method, the developing direction of ecological forestry in Hunan. Ecological forestry construction in Hunan methods are “Implement the science developing opinion, implement the developing strategy of sustainable development with human and nature coordinated, establish the ecological Hunan.” Analysis of the ecological forestry development in Hunan, and outlook creatively was pointed out by the characteristics in development. Active appraisement on the significance and results of the ecological forestry construction is necessary.
