【Abstract】 Originally the access control system adopts industrial bus, such as RS485, to make the controller exchange data with the server. It needs, however, span special RS485 communication cables and repeaters, which is costly、unreliable and insecure. With the development and popularization of computer network technology,embedded gateway comes out based on MCU and Ethernet technology.Now a new kind of access controller which can exchange data with the server in Ethernet environment using TCP/IP protocol through Embedded gateway.
