【Abstract】 The features, application background and the basic technology of DeviceNet, ControlNet and EtherNet/IP are studied.Functions, constitution and implementation of CIP in NetLinx are introduced.MAC mechanism of each network of NetLinx is described, such as the CSMA/AMP(Carrier Sense multiple Access with Collision Detection/Arbitration Message Priority) mechanism of DeviceNet, the implicit token-passing mechanism of ControlNet and the CSMA/CD (Carrier Sense multiple Access with Collision Detection) mechanism of EtherNet/IP.
