声透镜波束形成技术仿真研究
Simulation research on acoustic lens beamforming
【摘要】 目前,使用电子电路的传统高分辨率声呐通常具有较大的体积、较高的功耗和较低的图像更新率.声透镜声呐使用声透镜形成图像,能够克服这些缺点.为此介绍了声透镜波束形成技术的基本原理和声场分析模型,对透镜形状、材料、尺寸,以及环境温度等参数对透镜声呐性能的影响进行了仿真研究.结果表明,上述参数对主瓣宽度、旁瓣高度、聚焦深度等声呐性能指标具有较大的影响,通过对声透镜的合理设计可以达到优化声呐性能的目的.
【Abstract】 When high_resolution detection is done in turbid or dark water where optical systems fail,imaging sonar is required.Typical high frequency sonar which uses electronic circuitry suffers from its large size,high power consumption,and a usually low image refresh rate.Acoustic lens sonar overcomes these shortcomings by using acoutic lenses to form images.In this paper,we introduce the principle of beamforming with acoustic lenses and the hybrid analytic model of acoustical fields composed of geometric acoustic and wave acoustic.Computer simulation was done in order to analyze how the performance of lens sonar would change with changes of the parameters such as shape,material,size of the lenses and temperature of the ambient water.Simulation results show that these parameters influence the lens sonar’s beamwidth,sidelobes,depth of focus,and other variables.The sonar’s performance can be improved by an optimum design of acoustic lenses.
