【摘要】 通过随机抽样 ,计算我国 5 7家上市公司 1998年 - 2 0 0 2年的平均盈利指标和风险指标 ,根据各公司多元化熵值的大小对样本总体进行分组 ,分析多元化程度对企业绩效的影响。研究发现 :1.多元化程度越高 ,公司的平均净资产收益率越高 ;2 .多元化经营降低了公司收益率的波动水平 ;3.资产规模越小的公司越倾向于选择多元化经营。更多还原

【Abstract】 A sample of 57 Chinese listed companies during the 1998-2002 periods was used in this paper. These companies were classified into three groups of diversification in terms of their entropies to analysis empirically the impact of diversification on performance. The result indicates that, the higher the level of diversification, the higher the average returns on equity and the lower the volatility of return. The result also shows that businesses in small companies tended to be more diversified.更多还原
